Medicine: Nobel Prize awarded for medicine and physiology
The Nobel Prize just isn't as exciting as it used to be, since it's so clinically important to know how people smell and all. I mean, it's always important to track out neurological pathways and such, but hasn't somebody invented a better band-aid or something? Maybe we'll get some cool neuropsych stuff in the next few years. Until then, I'll keep burning incense while I study, enjoying my ignorance of olfaction.
