Politics: Interesting Poll Results from Gallup

Gallup has a new poll out. I promise I'll post a fully-fleshed out rant about why all polls suck this election cycle in the near future, but for now I'll leave it to the good folks at MoveOn, MyDD and DailyKos to explain why Gallup bites the big one. There is an interesting part of this poll, however, and it's buried deep at the end. In assessing personal characteristics of the presidential candidates, 57% of the respondents said that Kerry was the one who expresses himself more clearly compared to 38% for Bush. This is 3 points better for Kerry and 3 points worse for Bush than the poll taken just a week before. So much for the myth that Bush speaks just like one of us regular guys.
