Politics: Michael J. Fox looking kinda rough

Fox, who has suffered from Parkinson's disease probably brought about by playing uber-republican Alex P. Keaton for so many years, has held up remarkably well over the years. Typically, the L-Dopa treatments these patients receive stop working after the neurons in the substantia nigra deteriorate beyond all hope. The onset is insidious, desperate, and sad.

But he's done well for a really long time, and this video for John Kerry supporting stem cell research is the first time I've seen him present with any, albeit very mild, symptoms of Parkinson's. Very sad. Sad, especially as Fox's experience somewhat represent a microcosm for all sufferers of Parkinson's.
