Politics: history lesson?
With the exception of Indiana, Iowa, and New Mexico, I believe we have a match.
Whoops, forgot Delaware and Maryland.
The 1896 Presidential Election is also being cited for its extremely similar results. (Democrat William Jennings Bryan lost to William McKinley, who outspent him 20:1.)
