Literature: Gonzo Celebration

Organizers of a memorial for Hunter S. Thompson plan to erect a 150-foot structure — courtesy of actor Johnny Depp — to shoot the gonzo journalist's ashes onto his ranch near here.

Somehow, my plan to have half of my ashes dumped in the Ohio River and the other half in the Liffey in Dublin just don't seem as fantastical as it once did.
